ENGIBOX for Rotax Engines – Real-Time Engine Monitoring
The AvMap ENGIBOX is a compact engine monitoring system developed specifically for Rotax-powered aircraft. It enables continuous monitoring of key engine parameters and displays the data on a compatible AvMap avionics display.
When installed and configured in accordance with AvMap documentation, the ENGIBOX allows monitoring of the following engine parameters:
- Oil pressure
- Oil temperature and air temperature
- Engine speed (RPM)
- Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) or Coolant Temperature (CT)
- Manifold pressure (MAP)
- Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT)
- Engine operating time (Hobbs)
Engine compatibility: Rotax 912, 912S, 914, 618, 582, 503, and 447 series.

Data View – Graphical
Engine data is presented with graphical elements that help visualize trends, operating ranges, and configured warning or alarm thresholds.

Data View – Numerical
A numeric data view allows pilots to clearly read individual engine parameter values together with limit indications.

Performance Graphs
Individual graphs are available for supported engine parameters, supporting performance review and trend analysis.

Time & Engine Hours
The time page includes flight time, total engine operating time, and time since last overhaul, depending on configuration.
Save, Share, and Analyze Engine Data
The ENGIBOX system supports engine data logging and post-flight analysis through a dedicated mobile application and online portal.
- Monitor engine parameters in real time during flight
- Download recorded engine data for maintenance or review
- Share engine logs with a Rotax service center for technical support
- Review engine performance trends through the ENGIBOX web portal

ENGIBOX Mobile App
The ENGIBOX mobile application allows engine data recorded by the ENGIBOX system to be downloaded to a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth for storage, review, and sharing.
Engine data is recorded at a high sampling rate and stored in the ENGIBOX internal memory for later retrieval. Logged data can be reviewed locally or shared with a Rotax service organization for maintenance or troubleshooting support.
- Available for iOS and Android devices
- Supports download and storage of recorded engine data
- Allows sharing of engine logs with Rotax service centers
- Parameters depend on engine configuration and installed sensors
ENGIBOX Web Portal
The ENGIBOX web portal provides access to stored engine data from any supported device. It allows users to review historical engine information and analyze performance trends over time.
- Secure online storage of engine data
- Graphical analysis of recorded engine parameters
- Data sharing with Rotax service organizations for support
