The D307PS Digital Temperature Probe is designed to provide accurate temperature measurements for compatible digital outside air and cabin air temperature gauges. Featuring a 12-foot white cable, the probe allows flexible remote installation locations while maintaining reliable digital signal transmission.
This probe is intended for use only with UMA digital instruments in the 301, 303, 307, and 655 series that have a “D” designation in the serial number. It communicates using a digital 1-Wire® interface, requiring only a single port pin for data communication and eliminating the need for external signal-conditioning components.
Each probe contains a unique 64-bit serial code stored in onboard memory, allowing for precise device identification and multi-drop capability where supported. The probe can be powered directly from the data line, operating within a supply range of 3.0 to 5.5 volts.
The D307PS measures temperatures from -55°C to +125°C (-67°F to +257°F), with ±0.5°C accuracy over the -10°C to +85°C range. Resolution is user-selectable from 9 to 12 bits, with temperature conversion completed in up to 750 milliseconds at maximum resolution. User-definable nonvolatile alarm thresholds are supported, enabling temperature limit monitoring where implemented by the host instrument.
When installed in accordance with the applicable instrument manufacturer instructions, the D307PS provides dependable digital temperature sensing for aircraft applications.
