AeroShell Oil Sport Plus 4

AeroShell Oil Sport Plus 4 is a premium semi-synthetic multigrade 10W-40 aviation engine oil specifically developed in cooperation with Rotax® for use in Rotax four-stroke aircraft engines, including the 912 and 914 series.

Unlike traditional aviation piston engine oils designed for direct-drive Lycoming or Continental engines, Sport Plus 4 is engineered for high-revving, liquid-cooled engines incorporating integrated reduction gearboxes and, in certain installations, wet clutch systems.

The formulation provides:

• Excellent wear protection for engine and gearbox components

• Compatibility with wet clutch systems (JASO MA performance level)

• Stable viscosity across a wide operating temperature range

• Protection against corrosion and deposit formation

• Optimized performance when operating on AVGAS 100LL, unleaded fuels, or a mixture of both

The oil’s additive system is designed to help manage lead deposits when AVGAS is used, making it suitable for mixed-fuel operations common in light sport and microlight aircraft.

AeroShell Oil Sport Plus 4 is approved for use in Rotax 912 and 914 series engines in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.

Not suitable for Lycoming or Continental direct-drive aircraft piston engines.
