The Icom IC-A220 is a compact 8.33 kHz / 25 kHz VHF airband transceiver designed for panel-mounted installation in certified and experimental aircraft. Featuring a bright white OLED display, 8W transmit power and built-in intercom, the IC-A220 is ideal for modern cockpit upgrades and 8.33 kHz compliance in European airspace.
Featuring a bright white OLED display with a wide 170° viewing angle, the IC-A220 ensures excellent readability in both daylight and night conditions. The auto-dimmer function automatically adjusts brightness for optimal cockpit visibility.
With 8W carrier output power, built-in intercom capability, GPS frequency transfer support, and a slim 34 mm profile, the IC-A220 is ideal for installations where panel space is limited.
The unit meets RTCA DO-186B (USA version) and MIL-STD-810 environmental standards for rugged aviation use.
