Tempest SPIN EZ™ Non-Stick Design

Tempest SPIN EZ™ oil filters incorporate a proprietary solid gasket lubricant designed to reduce filter sticking during removal. Unlike traditional liquid lubricants or DC-4 compounds that may extrude under heat and pressure, the adhered solid lubricant remains between the gasket and mount pad surface.

This design helps minimize bonding between the filter seal and the engine mount pad, simplifying removal at scheduled oil change intervals.
