LOCTITE 246 – Medium-Strength High-Temperature Threadlocker

LOCTITE 246 is a one-component, medium-strength anaerobic threadlocker developed for locking and sealing threaded metal fasteners. It cures when confined between close-fitting metal surfaces in the absence of air, forming a durable bond that helps prevent loosening and leakage caused by shock and vibration.

The product is particularly suitable for demanding threaded assemblies exposed to vibration, mechanical stress and elevated temperatures. Its thixotropic consistency helps reduce migration or running after application, allowing the product to remain where it is dispensed.

Once cured, LOCTITE 246 provides medium-strength retention while allowing normal disassembly using standard hand tools for servicing and maintenance.
