Tempest AA825706 Aircraft Oil Filter | Rotax 912 / 914

The Tempest AA825706 is a spin-on aviation oil filter designed for use with selected Rotax 912 and 914 series engines.

Developed specifically for Rotax engine applications, the AA825706 incorporates Tempest’s aviation oil-filter construction with a strengthened filter can, substantial base plate and increased filtration-media area. Tempest specifies a 0.019 in can thickness, 0.100 in base plate thickness, 275–325 psi burst pressure and 118 sq. in. of filtration media.

The filter also incorporates a safety-wire lock tab ring, allowing the filter to be secured after installation where required by the aircraft or engine installation.

Tempest lists the AA825706 for Rotax 912 and 914 engine applications and historically cross-references Rotax filter numbers 825-701, 825-703 and 825-706. Current distributor cross-reference data also lists 825016.
