LOCTITE 246 is a blue, medium-strength, high-temperature threadlocker designed for locking and sealing metal threaded fasteners. Its anaerobic formula cures between close-fitting metal surfaces in the absence of air, helping prevent loosening and leakage caused by shock and vibration. The assembly can normally be dismantled using standard hand tools.
