The Artex C406-1 ELT was designed to meet the rigorous requirements of TSO C126 and to pass the toughest safety tests. In the event of a crash, the Artex C406 ELT will automatically transmit a 406 MHz digital message to a worldwide network of satellites, allowing first responders to quickly and accurately identify the incident location, reducing the search and rescue response time.
